All of our products and their parts are dishwasher safe. We recommend placing them in the top rack. Please allow all washed parts (such as Sippy valves or straws) to dry completely before reassembling the cup.
The sleeves can remain on the Safe Sippy cups and Safe Sporter water bottles while in the dishwasher and while washing by hand. We do recommend removing and cleaning the sleeves separately from time to time. Please allow the sleeve to dry completely before reapplying.
We recommend removing and washing the gaskets (and channels of the lids) on the Safe Sippy cups, Safe Sporter water bottles, and Safe Snacker containers from time to time. Please allow gaskets and lids to dry completely before reassembling.
If your bottle or lid seems to be retaining any flavors or smells even after washing, we recommend soaking them in a little vinegar and water overnight.
Stainless steel is naturally highly resistant to corrosion and stains; however, with frequent use, small spots of rust can appear. If this occurs, we recommend washing any rust spots off with a little steel wool.
Our Safe Sippy cups, Safe Sporter water bottles, and Safe Snacker containers are made with single-walled stainless steel in order for products to be light-weight enough for young children to hold themselves. They are not designed for hot liquids. Also, please do not place our products in the microwave.
The sleeves on our Safe Sippy cups and Safe Sporter water bottles are designed to provide good grips for young children, and will also help keep the liquid cool for a few hours.
